Hum wait hi karr rahe the ki Kab tum Aankhen Kholo aur Hum .................

• STORY

MIRZAPUR season 2, it follows the story where it was ended in season 1. Munna (Divyendu Sharma) being shot 5 bullets still surviving, guddu (Ali Fazal), golu (shewta Tripathi) and Dimpy (Harshita Gaur) are on run to escape and get some time to heal as guddu is been shot on knee and then make a come back for the revenge of Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar) and also to snatch the Mirzapur's Throne. On the other hand Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) the son of Rati Shankar Shukla (Shubrajyoti Bharat) take over the jaunpur but as to take the throne of Mirzapur he plans to join Munna and work under him and wait for the correct timing as he knows Munna is the weak point. A handful of new characters introduced in season two. Vijay Varma plays ‘Chhote’ Tyagi and Lilliput plays his father, Dadda Tyagi, a car-jacker and liquor smuggler who become potential new partners as the Tripathis and Guddu/Golu look to expand their guns and drugs business. The Chief Minister’s daughter Madhuri (Isha Talwar) is another new player.

The story follow with some dirty politics and business but will guddu and golu take revenge ? Will Sharad Shukla accomplish his plan to takeover the Mirzapur throne ? will Munna bhaiya kill guddu ? Will kaleen bhaiya defend his legacy ?

• ACTING:-

The cast is so amazing, each one of them nailed their roles perfectly. Whether it be characters with very less screen timing or the characters like KALEEN BHAIYA (PANKAJ TRIPATHI), MUNNA BHAIYA(DIVYENDU SHARMA), GUDDU PANDIT (ALIF FAZAL), GOLU GUPTA (SHWETA TRIPATHI), BEENA TRIPATHI (RASIKA DUGAL), MAQBOOL KHAN (SHAJI CHAUDHARY), MADHURI YADAV (ISHA TALWAR), ROBIN (PRIYANSHU PAINYULI) and many more, they just amazed every one with their acting skills and dialogue delivery.

 • ANALYSIS

So overall Mirzapur season two is essentially a squabble between four sets of fathers and their sons. The Pandits, The Tripathis, the Shuklas and the Tyagis, the father-son duo in all these clans are at loggerheads. All dealing with their controlling fathers and doing everything to step out of their father’s shadow. And all have some unfinished revenge to execute.

• FINAL VERDICT

It's BINGE WORTHY but BELOW EXPECTATIONS. There was no problem with their acting but the plots story took a very slow start Inspite being a season 2, some unwanted connection that comes out to make a base for the third season. You will definitely miss Bablu (Vikrant Massey) as he was the one giving a major vibe to the plot.

Writers Puneet Krishna and Vineet Krishna brings the season with plenty of drama and come out guns blazing. The season, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Mihir Desai, take a jump at mid-season. The latter episodes follows up in politics and expectations for loyalty from employees. Within all of these they lacked the focus between Guddu and Munna the main friction .

Mirzapur Season 2, the fight for the throne of mirzapur ends with some killings, some betrayal and with some base for the continuation of next season.

My Ratings:- 🌟 🌟🌟/5 (3 stars)
